Entry to the Business Awards Carries the Following Conditions:

  1. All entrants or nominees must operate from the 2850 postcode.
  2. Businesses must have been operating for more then two years from the closing date for Clock Awards entries unless the guidelines for the category the business is applying to specifically states otherwise.
  3. The Judging Panel reserves the right to place your entry into a category it feels most appropriate. The Judging Panel reserves the right to create or delete categories based on the entries received.
  4. The applicant acknowledges that if they win an award that the award is personal to the winner and is not assignable.
  5. Awards presented will be to the organisation or person names on the application form.
  6. No alterations to applications will be permitted after the date of submission although submissions may be withdrawn prior to announcement of winners.
  7. A representative must be present at the Gala function.
  8. There is no nomination entry fee.
  9. Your privacy is protected and all entries are regarded as CONFIDENTIAL and all individuals involved in the judging process are required to complete a Confidentiality Agreement.
  10. Entries must be submitted through the online nomination process, unless prior arrangements are made. All required questions must be answered to be eligible.
  11. All entrants or nominations must be registered with the ATO as a business and hold a current ABN number.
  12. Eligible winners of the aligned NSW Business Chamber categories will proceed as a finalist to the 2019 Western NSW Business Awards. (To be eligible, a winner must be a member of the Mudgee Chamber of Commerce).
  13. State category winners from the year preceding cannot enter the same category in the current year, but can enter a different category or categories.
  14. "The Clock" Most Outstanding Business Award will be awarded to the winner of the Excellence in Business or the Excellence in Small Business categories.
  15. Where there is more than one business with the same total point balance, the winner will be determined by the business with the most points awarded in the General question area.
  16. Sponsors may enter the awards, but may not enter the category that they are sponsoring.
